Description

Ground floor

The ground floor boasts a 40m2 living room with a cozy wood burning stove, a large sofa area, state-of-the-art flatscreen TV, and direct access to the spacious backyard. It’s the ideal place for a board games, movie nights, and all kinds of quality time spent with family.

First Floor

The open-plan kitchen and dining area shines in all its white glory and is the heart of the home. Equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, and electric stove with oven, this modern kitchen is the ideal place for a cooking feast with the family. If you feel like spreading your wings even further, the 17m2 balcony with its timber floors and lounge area is the perfect spot for an outdoor breakfast or to finish off your desert under the stars. Three comfortable bedrooms, a modern bathroom with tub, as well as a separate WC can also be found on this floor.

Top Floor

The master bedroom is the most coveted place in our luxury vacation home, boasting a large panorama window with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. In addition, you will find two more beautiful rooms, a bathroom with a double washbasin and rain shower, as well as a separate WC on the top floor.

Yard

The large south-facing backyard is a true hidden gem with its old trees and blooming bushes, making it the perfect place for your hide-and-seek adventures. A swing, slide, and sand pit are what kids’ vacation dreams are made of. The covered terrace with its comfortable lounge area is the perfect hangout spot while waiting for the food to finish on the barbecue – no matter the weather. Mellow summer evenings need not be cut short by dinner. Instead, enjoy a dreamy meal under the stars at our large outdoor table, seating up to 16 people.

Location

The Chalet Happy Family is perfectly located near the town center of Golling, yet lies amidst lush greens in a remote location. The nearby town offers popular dinner spots, charming bars, supermarkets and independent shops. The local Aqua Salza wellness spa & pools is right next door. The idyllic recreational area Egelsee is a 5-minute walk away, and the walk to the playground is only 10 minutes. Private parking spaces are right outside the vacation home and are available for guests. The Chalet Happy Family is also the perfect spot for your furry friends. With several lanes and paths to explore right from your doorstep, you’ll be spoilt for choice on your daily walks.

The booking is finalized as soon as your deposit has been received. In case of cancellations ≤ 6 months prior to your stay the deposit will be retained. For cancellations ≤ 4 weeks prior to your stay the full amount of your vacation fee will be billed.

Arrival

The Chalet Happy Family is situated in Golling, a small town 30 km south of Salzburg.

Via car
Golling is just off the main highway, the Tauernautobahn – one of the most important north-south connecting roads in Austria.
We suggest planning your route with Google Maps or a similar service.
Please be aware that Austrian motorways require a vignette.

Via train
The Golling-Abtenau station is a stop for local and long-distance trains.
The Chalet Happy Family is only a 10-minute walk away from the train station. If you would like to be picked up, we are happy to organize transport for you, too.

Via airplane
The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Munich. An airport pick-up service, as well as shuttle transfers can be organized for you.

If you travel via train or airplane, we are happy to provide a Fiat 500 free of charge for the duration of your stay.
