The Chalet Austria impresses not only with its idyllic yet central location, but also with its cozy country-style interiors, providing the ideal backdrop for a relaxed family vacation.

Description

Ground Floor

The living room on the ground floor is made for cozy evenings around the fireplace, snuggled up on the large sofa arrangement. Adjacent to the living room you will find a beautiful kitchen with modern appliances (dishwasher, microwave, coffee- and tea makers, electric stove with oven, etc.). The spacious dining room is equipped with a flatscreen TV and offers impressive mountain views. Direct access to the backyard and both terraces leaves you spoilt for choice – breakfast in the morning sun or at the comfortable kitchen table? The recently renovated bathroom with a rain shower, as well as a separate WC are the ideal set-up for stress-free family times.

First floor and Semi-basement

The first floor can be reached via a staircase, leading to three elegantly decorated bedrooms equipped with flatscreen TVs. Two of the bedrooms have stunning mountain views, and all of our rooms have a direct access to the balconies. Additionally, this floor also offers another bathroom with rain shower, as well as a separate WC.
An additional bedroom in the semi-basement of the vacation home is the ideal retreat for those who seek a bit of peace and quiet. Equipped with a window, its own lounge area and TV, this room is the ideal spot to retreat back to after a long day.

Rooftop terrace

The rooftop terrace has a unique view of the surrounding mountain ranges and the lush green meadows of Salzburg’s countryside. Relax in our lounge area, enjoy your breakfast at our large outdoor table, flip through a magazine on the sunbeds, or retreat to a shaded area on the terrace. This unique rooftop spot that can be used by all guests of our luxury vacation home is placed on the building directly adjacent to our chalet and can be reached via a staircase.

Location

The luxury Chalet Austria is situated on the outskirts of Golling in a quiet cul-de-sac. The town center offers popular dinner spots, charming bars, supermarkets and independent shops, and is within a 10-minute walking distance. A two-minute walk down the road will lead you to the Aqua Salza wellness spa & pools. A playground, as well as private parking places are right outside the vacation home and are available for guests of our vacation home. The Chalet Austria is also the perfect spot for your furry friends. With several lanes and paths to explore, you’ll be spoilt for choice on your daily walks. Should you plan on bringing a group larger than 10 people, the neighboring apartment house Holidaysun offers additional rooms.

The booking is finalized as soon as your deposit has been received. In case of cancellations ≤ 6 months prior to your stay the deposit will be retained. For cancellations ≤ 4 weeks prior to your stay the full amount of your vacation fee will be billed.

Arrival

The Chalet Austria is situated in Golling, a small town 30km south of Salzburg.

Via car
Golling is just off the main highway, the Tauernautobahn – one of the most important north-south connecting roads in Austria.
We suggest planning your route with Google Maps or a similar service.
Please be aware that Austrian motorways require a vignette.

Via train
The Golling-Abtenau station is a stop for local and long-distance trains.
The Chalet Austria is only a 10-minute walk away from the train station. If you would like to be picked up, we are happy to organize transport for you, too.

Via airplane
The nearest international airports are Salzburg and Munich. An airport pick-up service, as well as shuttle transfers can be organized for you.

If you travel via train or airplane, we are happy to provide a Fiat 500 free of charge for the duration of your stay.
